Hola! Mi nombre es Jessica pero muchas personas me llaman Jess. No tengo preferencia, me gusta ambos nombres. Tengo 20 años y estoy en mi segundo año en la universidad. Este viaje es mi primero viaje con la universidad. He viajado a otros países incluyendo Ecuador y Inglaterra pero nunca he estado a Panamá ni la América Central. Tengo mucho interés en la cultura y el idioma especialmente español. Cuando termino la universidad quiero enseñar en un país que habla español tan este viaje será una gran experiencia introductoria para mí.
Mis otros intereses incluyen montar los caballos, correr, eschucar música e ir a conciertos. También me gusta ir a la playa, vivo cinco minuntos de la playa con mi familia. Mi familia es muy importante a mi. Cuando no estoy en la universidad vivo con mis padres y mis hijos. Tengo dos hijos un mayor y un menor.
Estoy muy entusiasmado para este viaje que piensa que será una gran experiencia.

OK, it looks like I got this one to go through so here is what I said in the first note.
Wow, what a neat surprise! I had chemo today and test results from the latest CAT scan. The test results were very good--no disease progression. Yea! Your mom called about the results and during the conversation told me about your blog. We both got on your site and stayed on the phone so we could read some of it together. That was a good thing, because your Spanish has come a long way (your mom could help me with translation!)
I will try to stay in touch so I can follow your adventures in Panama. Bueno Suerte. PaPa
